Cabo San Lucas, Mexico | January 2025

Celebrate the start of the new year in one of Mexico’s top entices. Your around-the-world experience begins on New Year’s Day with a journey to Cabo San Lucas. Venture into town for cooking classes at two famous culinary mainstays. Join the famous Flora Farms team and learn the art of regional fare, with a focus on fresh produce and herbs from Flora Farms’ very own grounds. The interactive class also includes a farm tour, artisan cocktail, and private lunch. At Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection, culinary workshops showcase the natural riches of Los Cabos. Visit the Baja shoreline to dig for chocolata clams and return to the chef’s garden to hand-pick herbs and produce. Back in the kitchen, you’ll cook traditional fish-and-clam ceviche and pescado zarandeado over a wood-and-coal bonfire. Or visit a local farmers market and upon returning to the resort, learn to cook traditional Mexican-style street food.  

Cartagena, Colombia | February 2025  

This bustling port city located on the northern coast of Colombia faces west to the Caribbean Sea. Cartagena’s Old Town, surrounded by centuries-old stone walls, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover authentic culture at open-air cafes, lively bars, and tony restaurants. Navigate narrow cobblestoned streets lined with bougainvillea-draped balconies. Learn of the city’s history, as well as the impact of its most famous author, Gabriel García Márquez. Roam the historical districts of El Centro and San Diego, both gems of colonial architecture and lined with churches, monasteries, plazas, palaces, and mansions. Hire a yacht, take a photography or salsa class, or savor a gin-and-tonic tasting. If time permits, a half-day trip from Cartagena to Tayrona National Park is paradise found. Aquamarine water hugs massive rocks — akin to scenes from The Beach. Alternatively, visit Isla Rosario — a quick boat ride from the city center. 

Casablanca, Morocco | April 2025  

Blend ancient heritage with modern charm, and you've got Casablanca. Explore the enchanting streets, bustling souks, narrow alleyways, and historical sites. From the Hassan II Mosque to the Old Medina and the Quartier Habous, these odes to the past are steeped in centuries of history. Visit the Art Deco buildings of the city center, a legacy of its French colonial past, and wander to the nearby beaches of Ain Diab or Mohammedia, where golden sands and azure waters await. For a taste of Moroccan wilderness, venture inland to the breathtaking landscapes of the Atlas Mountains or the scenic valleys of the Ourika River.

Brač Island, Croatia | July 2025

From Dubrovnik's renowned city walls and Hvar's vibrant nightlife to the pristine beaches of Brač and Korčula's fantastic wine scene, Croatia is poised for extraordinary adventure. While stopping on Brac Island, your 24-hour to-do list is action-packed: Explore the famous Zlatni Rat Beach. Nicknamed Golden Horn and considered one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Croatia, it’s become a haven for windsurfing. Hike Vidova Gora, the highest mountain of the Croatian islands (anticipate a three-hour trek) or go scuba diving among brilliant coral reefs. Discover Brač marble, used to build the White House, the Reichstag in Berlin, and the Hofburg in Vienna. Once the sun goes down, party at Varadero, which attracts top Croatian DJs and is in the heart of Bol, located on the south side of the island.  

Port Louis, Mauritius | October 2025

This island sanctuary in the Indian Ocean will undoubtedly become a favorite port of call during the 2025 voyage. Known for its turquoise waters and diverse flora and fauna, Mauritius caters to both water and culture seekers. Rent a colorful Moke and start your 24-hour discovery at the National History Museum in Mahébourg, which showcases the maritime and colonial history of the island. Refuel with a traditional roti — a delicious Indian-style flatbread. Dine on creole-inspired cuisine at Chez Tante Athalie, located in an enchanting Mauritian house. Cap your day by watching the sunset from Le Morne Brabant mountain, which overlooks the island’s southwest lagoon. 

Darwin, Australia | December 2025

From traditional ceremonial practices to world-class contemporary arts, the story of the Northern Territory’s Aboriginal culture is front and center when experiencing Darwin. Connect with the oldest living culture at Kakadu National Park, home to the largest concentration of rock art sites. Some paintings are up to 20,000 years old, which makes the artwork one of the longest historical records of any group of people. When visiting the lush and tropical Top End, amazing wildlife experiences are also found in Darwin's Nitmiluk National Park.
