DAY 2  

Morning  

Enjoy a lazy morning beachside or cruising Baha Mar’s emerald waters. The resort’s complimentary rental program includes stand-up paddleboards, single and double kayaks, water hammocks, floating lounges, personal floats, snorkels, and masks. Whatever your discovery mode of choice, the seascape is teeming with brilliant tropical fish and unforgettable ocean vistas.   

Afternoon  

Any well-traveled angler has heard of the Bahamas’ famous sport fishing; afterall, it inspired Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and The Sea. Enjoy baking and cooking challenges, farm-to-table education sessions, and special teen competitions. Nightcap

DAY 3  

Morning  

One of the Bahamas’ most celebrated species (other than Exuma’s famous swimming pigs), the flamingos here are a natural draw. Flamingo Cay is a unique habitat and part of Baha Mar’s mission to educate guests and preserve the flamingo population. Witness these gorgeous birds during the daily parade or experience the flock on a private guided tour.  

Afternoon  

Explore Nassau’s famed Pompey Square. The colonial history of the Bahamas is sprinkled among downtown’s beautiful buildings, monuments, and 18th-century forts. Your history lesson continues back at Baha Mar and its on-property art museum. Curated by well-known Bahamian John Cox (former chief curator of the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas), The Baha Mar Collection is comprised of 2,500 pieces from local artists — all displaying Bahamian culture and history.  

Evening  

Your culinary piece de resistance is dinner at Café Boulud. Showcasing the sophistication of traditional French cuisine in a posh Bahamian setting, the menu is inspired by Boulud’s four culinary muses — La Tradition, La Saison, La Mer, and Le Voyage — and celebrates seasonal Caribbean ingredients.
